Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan has assured of providing all out cooperation to US-based Bangladeshi businessman Dr Kali Pradip Chaudhuri, the founder of KPC Group of Companies, for investing in Bangladesh.
Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan came up with the assurance when Dr Kali Pradip Chaudhuri paid a courtesy visit at his Bashundhara residence on Tuesday.
Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan welcomed him with a bouquet of flowers.
During the talks, Dr Chaudhuri expressed his desire to invest in Bangladesh.
Mohammad Mahtabur Rahman, Chairman of NRB Bank and Chairman and Managing Director of Al Haramain Perfume Group of Companies, Liaquat Ali Khan Mukul, Chairman of Rupayan Group and Mahir Ali Khan Ratul, Vice-Chairmen of Rupayan Group, among others, were also present on the occasion.
KPC Group is involved in numerous businesses around the world serving diverse industries of healthcare, pharmaceutical, education, real estate, agriculture and engineering.
Dr Kali Pradip Chaudhuri, a physician hailing from Sylhet, has created a strong footprint in business over the years through KPC Group. He also has some 38 hospitals in America.
